Exchange of views between the working banks in the republic collectively & these banks & the Bank & other governmental & non-governmental entities, related to banking, financial, economic & commercial activities. |
Exchange of banking and economic information with the banking institutions to achieve common benefits. In this context the association has to be acquainted with new commercial and financial development running in the world, in order to achieve that, it has to meet with the related institutions and agencies either inside or outside the Republic, and what concerns foreign communications, to hold meetings with International monetary fund (IMF) and the world Bank (IBRD), with coordination with the Bank, |
Working on spreading of banking awareness and on setting up legal articles of association to underpin sound banking practices. |
Translating foreign banking terms to Arabic Language and setting up an accurate Manual for unified use of these terms in the republic, with coordination with related bodies. |
Studying issues of credit, money, exchange rates, foreign trade and other technical and administrative issues, concerning banking business, and submitting recommendations to the bank, accordingly. |
Working on resolving disputes & conflicts that may arise between the banks members without prejudice to related legal articles of association in force. |
Cooperating with the government on establishing a capital also looking to render technical point of views on privatization process, bringing out role of banks in this aspect. |
Participating on establishing a reconciliation and arbitration center to resolve disputes and conflicts between the banks Members and between these banks and their customers. Others may get use of services of the center with a fix fee to be paid. |
Taking care of interests of the association & its members, strengthen cooperation & coordination of its activities towards their own common interests. |
Discussing common issues, related to different activities of members and finding out resolutions facing them. |
